Former Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has claimed that there should be no parallel drawn between ‘legend’ Virat Kohli and Babar Azam after the historic night on Saturday. Kohli performed when the the team needed it the most, with a match-winning performance in the T20 World Cup final against South Africa.
The ex-Pakistan batter opined that Virat Kohli’s destiny had the T20 World Cup written as he fired in the most crucial game after seeing failures throughout the tournament. He further claims that no one should compare Babar Azam to Virat Kohli any more.

While India and Virat Kohli finally tasted success after years of heartbreaks, Pakistan faced an embarrassing situation at the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan started off their T20 World Cup campaign on an awful note, suffering a shock defeat at the hands of the USA in their very first game. To make matters worse, Babar Azam and co. let victory slip out of their hands in the game against arch-rivals India.
PAK managed to finally get a win against Canada but it came too late in the tournament. Their last game against IRE was called off due to rain, thus bringing an end to their T20 WC campaign.
