The Indian cricket team have started their preparations for the IND vs ZIM T20Is, which start on July 6. With Shubman Gill as their captain, the young Indian team has arrived at the Harare Sports Club for their first practice session of the 5-match series. Scheduled to play all of their matches at the same venue, Shubman Gill and co. will look to get a grasp on the pitch conditions in Harare.
Skipper Shubman was the last member of the team to arrive in Harare, as the opener came from New York from his vacation while the other members of the 15-man team and support staff left together from Mumbai. Due to a delay in departure from Barbados, three players from India’s T20 World Cup winning squad, Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, were excluded from the squad, and Harshit Rana, Jitesh Sharma, and Sai Sudharsan were added to the team.
