Prathamesh Samadhan Jawkar is currently placed 7th in the Archery rankings. He made headlines by defeating World No. 1 Mike Schloesser of the Netherlands to win the men’s individual event (compound) at the Archery World Cup in Shanghai in 2023. On the other hand, Abhishek Verma is placed 8th on the rankings currently.

Ojas Pravin Deotale (9th)

Ojas Pravin Deotale is an Indian archer currently ranked 9th in the world. He made history by becoming the first Indian male archer to win the gold medal in the men’s individual compound event at 2023 World Archery Championships in Berlin. He defeated Poland’s Lukasz Przybylski with a perfect score of 1503. He also won medals at the 2023 Archery World Cup and the 2022 Asia Cup.

Jyothi Surekha Vennam (4th)

Jyothi Surekha Venna is currently ranked fourth in compound archery rankings. She has won multiple gold medals in the compound archery event at the Archery World Cup, World Archery Championships and Asian Games. In 2023, she became the first Indian archer to win a gold medal at the World Archery Championships.
