PKL 2024: Star raider of the Pro Kabaddi League, Pardeep Narwal, scripted history as he became the first player to cross 1700 points in PKL history. Playing for Bengaluru Bulls in the 2024 PKL, Pardeep Narwal completed the feat against Gujarat Giants on October 20 (Sunday). Apart from having the most successful raider in PKL history, Pardeep Narwal is also the most successful player in the Pro Kabaddi league, having won three titles with the Patna Pirates.
Eyeing over 200 points: Pardeep Narwal on PKL 2024
Popularly known as the ‘Dubki King’, Pardeep Narwal’s performance has come down a bit in recent years. However, the star raider said that he is eyeing over 200 points in the ongoing PKL 2024 edition.
“I have worked so hard day and night to get my form back and perform for my team. I have worked hard on my fitness which is very important. Well, it feels like an excuse to say I could not perform for this reason or that reason, all I can say is that I didn’t perform to my best and I will try and change that this time. I have a target of scoring over 200 points and help my team,” Narwal said in an exclusive interview with Khel Now.
Narwal also talked about having a good squad combination for PKL 2024. “We have a very good squad, Ajinkya and then we have Jai Bhagwan and also the juniors. We have a very good raider contingent, and the coach has done a great job in making the team. Our target is to take on the matches one by one and win them to make our way into the final and finally get the trophy,” he added.
It remains to be seen if Bengaluru Bulls can lift the trophy this time around, with Pardeep Narwal playing a crucial role in their triumph.
